Store anything, stream instantly
Upload files of any size and stream them straight in the browser, including gigabyte videos, with no re-encoding or waiting. A Drive-like file browser gives you nested folders, search, drag and drop, bulk actions, a recycle bin, and shareable links, so it feels like a real product, not a bucket.
Import from anywhere
The part people come back for: you do not have to download something first to put it in your storage. cloudstorage.bar pulls it in for you.
- Paste any URL and import it directly
- Upload whole folders at once, not file by file
- Connect a cloud drive and import from it: Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Mega, S3, SFTP, FTP, WebDAV, Google Cloud Storage
- Pull from any yt-dlp-supported site
- Import directly from a zip download link, with no local download or extract
Built to hold up
An async Python backend serves the app and the API from one process, with a pool of workers for uploads and downloads, a live-tunable concurrency cap, AES-256 encryption for sensitive media, and multi-device sessions per account. An admin panel monitors uploads, streams, and jobs in real time. A premium API is currently in testing.
The AI layer: V2S
Tap the sparkle on any video and V2S, the platform's AI layer, watches and listens, then hands back a full breakdown: a watch-or-skip verdict, a chaptered timeline, key facts and people, a full transcript with translation, and a chat you can ask anything. It is what makes cloudstorage.bar more than storage.
